Growing up as a Sikh in the U.S., I never thought
I’d see South Asians in the limelight, much less Sikhs! Back
then, Sikhs only seemed destined for bit roles in movies as taxi
drivers. Moreover, who ever heard of a Sikh model? So, imagine my
excitement when I received an email about a Sikh man who is featured
in a Kenneth Cole ad, turban and all. He looks amazing too! So,
ABCDlady had to meet the guy, of course. I’d like to introduce
you to Sonny Caberwal, our Desi Making Waves this month!
Stuck in a rut? I can say that I have been! But
